Okay, so I only knew four of the songs Slayer played. Big whoop. The last 3 ... those made the show: Angel of Death, Postmortem, and Raining Blood. The rest was boring. Jeff was practically falling asleep standing up, it was hilarious. After that, pancakes at Denny's. Mmmmm ... pancakes. Metal followed by pancakes ... the pancakes taste so much better after metal. Pity I couldn't find that DMB shirt, I settled for a Nonpoint shirt instead. Rule Number One: NEVER wear a T-shirt with the name of ANY band that is performing at the show you go to. If you buy a concert shirt, buy it after the show.
So this is the second time this year that I have seen Killswitch Engage (first time was at the Vic), and the second time this year I've seen Mastodon (first time was at the Metro). There's still a bit of a list of who I want to see ... like Bleeding Through, The Black Dahlia Murder, As I Lay Dying (caught them opening for Killswitch Engage at the Vic, but they were halfway done with their last song), Norma Jean (yeah, saw them already, but they were awesome), Vital Remains and, most importantly, Cake.
So, with that, I shall now go to sleep ... because it just turned November 6th 21 minutes ago and I have to work later today :-p
